Staff

Carlos is the founder and principal agent at EDI Sports.  A graduate of Bowie Sate University.  Chavarria has helped many clients start and/or continue their professional baseball careers.  Has a wealth of knowledge, international baseball experience, and a strong network in the professional baseball industry. Carlos is a certified MLBPA Agent and a registered Athlete Agent in the District of Columbia.

Mike is a graduate of George Washington University.  He is a Pro Scouts and Mid-Atlantic Hall of Fame scout who served over 38 years as a MLB Pro Scout, Cross Checker, and Special Assistant to the GM.  Mike scouted and signed over 20 MLB players throughout his career. He also has a wealth of international scouting experience as he has scouted in Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Colombia, Puerto Rico, Canada, Korea, Japan and Italy. Mike directs our scouting department and is our senior advisor.

Dale is a partner and advisor at EDI Sports. A graduate of Southern Illinois University who brings over 40 years of business and marketing experience. He's also the inventor of the Aquatic Resistance Trainer (A.R.T.), an aquatic device that enhances the athletes swing motion through water aerobics.  Dale coordinates all of EDI's baseball activities in the Midwest which includes: scouting, player procurement and marketing.

Yury received her bachelor's degree in Psychology/Government from Georgetown University and JD degree from UDC Law.  She assists our staff with administrative and overall operations. In addition, she helps our clients with legal, interpretations/translations, concierge services, and organization/planning strategies.

Matt earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Connecticut and JD Degree from the Vermont Law & Graduate School. He is a certified MLBPA agent advisor and talent recruiter. Matt leads our baseball talent and properties capabilities focused on player career development and brand building. 

Roger is a graduate of the Universidad Santa Maria in Caracas, where he earned a degree in Communications. He's also a former pitcher in the Cleveland Indians organization and Leones del Caracas. Roger coordinates EDI's baseball activities and player procurement in Venezuela. 

 Antoine is a graduate of the Catholic University of America. He brings over 20-years of scouting, coaching and developing baseball players. Coordinates EDI's baseball activities in the Mid-Atlantic which includes: scouting, and off-season workout activities. 

Jose is a partner of EDI Sports and founder of ABR Baseball Academy in Caracas. A graduate of the Universidad Metropolitana where he doubled majored in Business Administration and Sports Management. Jose oversees our Venezuelan baseball activities.   

Juan is a graduate of George Mason University where he earned a degree in Business Marketing. He is responsible for overseeing our athletes social media platforms and implementing content strategies.
